Professional background
Dr. Michael Morrison earned his medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College in 1979, graduating cum laude with honors in Pediatrics, Nephrology and Pharmacology. He completed his pediatric internship and residency at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he also served as Associate Chief Resident. In September 1988 he co-founded West Broward Pediatrics in Plantation alongside Dr. Mark Tafeen, building it into one of Broward County's most trusted pediatric practices over the past 35 years. He has three grown children and five grandchildren, and has enjoyed watching his professional families grow into a second generation as well. Patients describe him as a physician who truly knows his patients, remembers the specifics of their health history, and takes the time to build lasting relationships with families.
